Emergency services incident near Plumstead station causing gridlock

A collision near Plumstead station and Pettman Crescent with a person believed hit by a car has brought long queues to Plumstead and Woolwich tonight.

Police have closed Plumstead Road heading westbound. TfL have tweeted about the incident:

Various rumours are flying around with none so far verified by authorities.
