Another stabbing in Greenwich tonight

Norman Road Greenwich has seen the air ambulance land again tonight after a serious assault near Norman Road.

It follows a stabbing two days ago round the corner on Creek Road.

And the week before a shooting occurred near new builds at Enderby Wharf which again saw the air ambulance land.

A shooting has also occurred in Greenwich. The recent spike in London shows no sign of abating, though the murder rate is still below much of the 1990s and early 2000s.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

  • I think the shooting last week was New Capital Quay rather than Enderby Wharf

PS I think this site is great

    • Ah sorry. I thought I recall a pic of the Air Ambulance sort of in between River Gardens and Enderby but maybe the old memory playing tricks

  • So sad to see all this unnecessary and needless crime taking over our streets. The area never used to be like this.. I have lived in the Borough of Greenwich for years and over the last couple of years crime has increased..

    • Yes it’s sad to see, but what do you expect?
National & local Government policy has also contributed this.
