New website launched covering South East London

I’m happy to report that a new website has been created by a reader that will feature parts of outer SE London that perhaps aren’t so well covered by the many great blogs and websites in the area.

Bromley Life will obviously look to cover whats happening over in Bromley. There’s a fair few sites covering Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley but Bromley seems a bit lacking, and now there’s a site looking to change that.

The first couple of posts cover a planned cycle route from Bromley via Lewisham to Greenwich as well as a look at a new tower going up in Bromley Town Centre.

No real reason to include this photo except that I love it

I’ve given them a bit of guidance in setting up the site which will hopefully grow in coming weeks and months. I’m always happy to help people set up sites and if you are interested you can email me at fromthemurkydepths@gmail.com

On that note, I’d also like to feature more guest posts if people want to submit articles. I’ve had a few people inquiring over recent weeks. If you do want to do so the email address again is fromthemurkydepths@gmail.com

Many thanks to those supporting this site. I have a page you can donate to (It’s here) in order to help me continue to find time to write, research and visit sites to take photos and the like as well as paying website hosting fees.

Once again, you can find Bromley Life here.

Adverts are far from enough to cover site costs and my rent.

Many thanks

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

  • Ha, ha. I went to Bromley last month and even walked down the High Street to Waitrose, but this development failed to register in my sight line.
